2013 Recap – Such a Thrilling Year
2013 was a very exciting year for me here at Amanda Manthey Photography…here is a list of some of my accomplishments of the year!
- I became an official business – Amanda Manthey Photography, LLC!
- I successfully photographed my first event (a child’s fashion show for a private school)!
- I took new classes and read even more books!!
- I upgraded my camera (which I am LOVING, by the way!)!
- I gained many new clients (who I LOVE, by the way :)!!! I am lucky to catch some really AMAZING clients!!)!
- I joined the PPA (Professional Photographers of America)!
- I photographed even more newborns this year (interestingly enough – a lot of boys!)!!
Looking to 2014 – The Goals I Want to Accomplish
- I will be attending a newborn workshop on the other side of the country from another professional photographer and I am SUPER excited for that!
- Continue to better my skills – photography is like any art or craft in the respect that we can always learn more and grow more! My photographic journey will hopefully be the type of journey that has lots of twists and turns and lasts forever!
- Get my hands on even more newborns – I just love their squishiness!!
- Start studying for my CCP exam (Certified Professional Photographer)!
- Enter some photography contests and critiques!!
- Join the NAPCP (National Association of Professional Child Photographers)!
- Participate in my first art fair in Hoboken!
I think that is my list for now…I think it will be the type of list that grows…but I think I am off to a great start for 2014! I am so lucky to be surrounded by friends, family and clients that support me in my business and in my life. I truly feel blessed and wouldn’t be here without all of you!
